And with the old rules where headbutts and side knees were allowed... Coleman was a beast (never forget the Pete Williams kick to his face though heh) If you ever saw the second Coleman vs Fedor match from Pride - Coleman just kept taking everything Fedor had to throw, granted he lost miserably and basically just kept hanging onto Fedor's legs all the time, but he did go the distance with who I think is the hardest hitter out there. Fedor, even with a 70 pound weight loss to Brock, would destroy Brock, at least the way Brock fights now - and we've never really seen Brock take punishment now have we? Fedor is such a well-rounded fighter, world-class judo, sambo, incredible speed and agility and submissions - and damn, can that man hit hard - he destroyed Herring, Goodridge, Randleman, Noguera several times... and the thing is, Fedor doesn't even really look that big - no tone or huge pecs or anything but stronger than a mean grizzly... But anyway, now that Coleman's almost 45 and is down to the light heavyweight class it's moot, just thinking about fights you wish you could see. Coleman did look pretty good against Bonnar though in 100, even though he made some real tactical mistakes on the ground and got caught up in oma platas several times, those elbows Bonner was hitting him in the head with would have dropped many another fighter. Still, it was good to see Coleman win, close though it was. Pity he didn't make the main card at 100, that was very annoying.
