Sokoudjou controlled most of the first round with low kicks. He was showing great respect to Nakamura, the PRIDE veteran, and was fighting at a respectful distance. But late in the first, Sokoudjou landed a right cross on the chin that floored Nakamura. He was so wobbly when the round ended, he first tried to leave the cage and then fell off his stool, forcing the bout to be stopped.

Sokoudjou vs Shogun? I’d love to see that fight. Soukoudjou needs to refine his techniques more though.
