After some work in the clinch, Murphy came out swinging wildly and more or less walked into a nasty right to the jaw. Another solid win for Rogers, one of Elite XC’s most promising heavyweight. Rogers, who was introduced by rap star Bustah Rhymes, was never in trouble and simply waited on his shot. Six of seven Rogers’ seven wins have come by way of KO or TKO.

As someone who has done martial arts for over 20 years, the thing I always love about Japan based federations like PRIDE, K-1, HERO, DREAM and so on is the respect the competitors show each other after the fight.
It is a normal occurence for a fighter to do more than a cursory salute when a vanquished foe is hurt.

I agree. The fighters need to show more class if they want to gain mainstream sympathy.
Well this is the ghetto trailer trash of MMA. Any one of these guys in eliteXC would get riped a new one in WEC, UFC etc. i mean honestly this is pretty much the next step from the backyard not to mention any names…kimbo….so give em a break?
